New Year Celebration | Кышкы Чыршы | Новогодняя Елка

Our Tatar-Bashkir society hosts the New Year Celebration for children and adults. The play is delivered in the Tatar language in order to connect to our roots and remember the mother tongue. We also introduce our guests to Tatar culture and national traditions. This is the only platform in the UK, where children can see a performance in their native Tatar language.

The Christmas Tree Celebration is not complete without the traditional Kysh Babai (Santa Claus) and Kar Kyzy (His helper – Granddaughter) in beautiful costumes, children's performances, poems and, of course, the presents. The event is exciting and interesting. We are looking forward to seeing you all at our friendly, fun and cosy gathering!
